Being vs Becoming

April greets us with an energy of rebirth and renewal. Shoots pushing through soil, buds swelling, and a whole world seemingly poised to erupt into color. It’s easy to carry that seasonal urgency into our inner lives: if everything around us is becoming, we must be becoming too. We tell ourselves that this is the time to transform, to optimize, to finally arrive at the person we imagine….

But what if being—fully, simply, exactly as you are today—is itself a form of bloom?

Becoming is powerful. It gives us direction, hope, a sense of movement. It tells us:

You can heal.
You can grow.
You can become someone freer, wiser, more aligned.

And for many of us—especially those on a healing or spiritual path—becoming can feel like salvation. We chase better habits, deeper awareness, emotional breakthroughs. We reach for the next version of ourselves—the one who is finally whole.

But beneath that pursuit, there is often an unspoken belief:

I will be enough when I get there.

And so we keep going.
Fixing. Refining. Improving.
Always just out of reach of ourselves.

But the truth is—you are already whole. You are already who you are meant to be.

What if, instead of constantly changing and altering, we softened into nurturing and exploring? What if growth didn’t mean becoming someone new, but remembering who you’ve always been?

Maybe it looks like returning to the girl you were at thirteen—and loving her this time.

You are not a project. You are purpose in motion—sometimes unfolding, sometimes resting, but always whole.

Join us in one of our circles this month as we explore how being and becoming can live together, and celebrate the beauty already within you.
